Enjoy a relaxing paddle on the lower reaches of the Whanganui River.  We offer freedom canoe hire and a jet boat canoe combination tour in the lower stretches of the Whanganui River.  Paddle at your own pace.

We provide life jackets, paddles, dry bags, single and double kayaks, and a refresher lesson.

Koriniti to Base

18km (approx. 3 hours) through the southern part of the Whanganui National Park.

Cost: $85 per person

Atene to Base

10km (approx. 1 hour).

Cost $65 per person.

Please note: Suitable clothing is required – no denim clothing permitted.  Our canoeing is freedom canoeing, that is, you paddle without a guide.  We will assess your level of competence and if we are not comfortable with your ability we will not put you on the river.
